The Flex Proto is designed as a lighter more flexible version of our standard layup.  This board has a weight savings of 0.75lbs (this may seem small, but it's a BIG difference!) over the Standard Proto, making it light and poppy.  Dropping a Ply of Maple gives the board a soft flex which is great for lighter riders, flexing down for speed, and locking into rails.
